Coachella

It all started one morning when I suggested that CocoValenz go to Coachella. Everything was planned and ready to go. I bought my ticket the moment that the website was up and running. I kept communicating to her that she NEEDED to get online and buy her ticket. A couple of days passed and still no ticket. Finally, when she logged in and was ready to pay they were all sold out!

Well lucky for me and my sister we still have tickets, and the fabulous music fest is just around the corner. As I hope many of you little Cocovalenz’s are going, this will be my first venture to the sun-kissed festival. But, with the weather being so unpredictable these days it comes down to UK festival clothing, or San Francisco sun hippie clothing. Anything from Urban Outfitters, JCREW or Free People will do just fine.

Coachella top must haves to look fabulously chic rain or shine:

Hunter Wellies in black with their fabulous array of custom inserts. These can be purchased at www.Nordstroms.com or www.hunter-boot.com

If it so happens to rain, and wearing wellies are a must, why not pair it with high socks or tights and jean shorts? A must have to shy away from tucked in jeans. I have this little pet peeve about high boots and dresses, so shorts are a must!

Fedoras are OUT and Panama Hats are in. A simple white with black band will accessorize your festival clothing and keep the sun off that pretty face. This one can be found at Urban

Bright colors are a MUST! Why not pair a bright shear maxi skirt and a fitted top? This is a look from Michael Kors Spring collection found here

A Cute bathing suite Bandeau under a shear top will still keep you warm if it is cold outside, but throw that splash of hippie love and color to your outfit! Check out Vitamin A’s Spring Collection here

For the ultimate Coachella outfit, if the sun is out, would be this Free People romper, side satchel, and tied shear top. Pair it with your favorite wedges (bring a pair of sandals in your bag if your feet start to hurt) and classic bangles and your ready to groove. Check out this outfit here

Hope to see you all out and about and happy shopping. Can’t wait to share with you my first experience at Coachella!

XOXO COCO
