Not Your Average Christmas List

Dear Santa

This year for Christmas I thought I would write you a different type of list. Now there are lots of items that I really want this year, but nothing is as important as this list I am about to write out.

The Hipster era is at an end and everything came into realization on Tuesday night when we went to dinner. It is really sad that I am about to write this list to you and maybe you can help him out with correcting these flaws for the next girl who unfortunately comes into his path.

ACTIONS THAT MAKE YOU REALIZE YOU ARE OVER IT!

  • When he makes plans with you stating where you will be going to eat and then you arrive and he asks, “so what do you feel like for dinner?” OVER IT
  • When he asks how long it will be till you get to his house, granted he said meet at 7. You respond “I’ll be there in 10.” He states, “alright, I’m going to grab a snack.” OVER IT
  • When you are sitting at dinner and he says, “you know I’m really not that hungry.” Over It.
  • When he says he is too stressed out to register for his master classes, he is a teacher, he says that his mom is helping him. OVER IT
  • When he uses happy faces in texts after every sentence. OVER IT
  • When you get scared when you see a text from him the day that you are supposed to go on a date because you think he is going to cancel for the third time. OVER IT
  • When you make plans earlier in the week for Friday night and he texts you that morning saying, “oh I forgot I have to be up early for a water polo game on Saturday.” OVER IT
  • When the waiter asks do you want chips and salsa (they are free) and he says “no.” OVER IT
  • When he wears glasses that have no prescription in them. OVER IT
  • When his roommate sells drugs for his full-time job. OVER IT
  • When he says he will call you tomorrow to discuss plans for the weekend and never does. OVER IT
  • When you ask what his plans are for New Years and he states, “I don’t like New Years, I would rather just sleep right through it.” OVER IT
  • When he is simply only texts you and never calls. OVER IT
  • On a second date when the bill comes for dinner and you simply offer to give him some money (knowing it is the right thing to do, but he will not take it) he states “yeah actually that would be cool. I have been spending way too much money.” OVER IT!!!!

This list could go on and on, but you get the point…
